The Catholic University of Pernambuco has many missions, one of them is
to produce knowledge and show it to the society and let them know what kind
of work that students and professors do at the University. Those productions
are inspired in a Christian view of the world and human nature, reinforced
by traditions of human development.
The Catholic University of Pernambuco is a community located in the Northeast and helps this suffered region with environmental and social activities developed to create solutions to Northeast problems, turning the theory studied in the class into real projects.
This fourth page is the Expedition, the journey of students and professors in some locations of Pernambuco. This journey happened to get information and to know the backwoods.
The Commitment explain the return and the social obligation of Unicap to show the actions results and thanks to all the citizens that colaboreted with the researches.
UniOpinions was developed in 3 parts to do
an institutional analysis, using everyone that makes the Catholic University
- Students and Employees).
The first one, the explorers, shows the results of questionaries done by
students about "Os Sertões" and about "Olhares...",
the second one, the Professionals, shows the opinions from professors and
employees about the project; The third one, called The Experts is based
on declarations from Ariano Suassuna and Frederico Pernambucano about Euclides
da Cunha's classic - Os Sertões.
